Dropping casually via Youtube with no build-up whatsoever, you'd be forgiven for missing this stunning new release from dream team Joanne Robertson & Dean Blunt. Just shy of 18 minutes, the extended track (dare we say EP?) features guest vocals by Elias B Rønnenfelt of Iceage on the section that's being referred to as '4' in the video's description. True to form, 'Backstage Raver', is loose and authentic, blissed out and raw. Touching on tropes of shoegaze, grunge and chamber pop in a lo-fi way that feels lighter than air, it's music to truly lose yourself in.
